History

In 1995, Kanto Bunkiki developed Japan’s largest number 38 turnout with a total length of around 135 m,
and achieving speeds of 270 km/h on the straight line and 160 km/h at the turnout.
Using our world-class technology in railways and high level of safety, we will continue to support the development of railways.

  • Taisho

    • 1917

      Founded Nakai Ironworks in Osaki in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo
    • 1921

      Reorganized into the limited partnership company Nakai Railway Machine Works, Ltd.,
      and relocated to Haneda in Ota-ku, Tokyo

    • 1938

      Reorganized into the joint-stock corporation Nakai Railway Machine Works, Co, Ltd.

      Relocated the factory to Okabe-machi in Osato-gun, Saitama

      Changed the company name to Heiwa Kiko Co., Ltd.
